In the fall of 1994, Tom and Andrea Planck moved to Cincinnati with a dream for a new church. That place was known as New Life Community Church. In the next nine and a half years God authored an amazing story of changed lives.

In the fall of 2004 as New Life approached its tenth anniversary, the leadership team began to wrestle with the question of what God wanted to do in the next ten years. We never dreamed God would respond the way He did. We felt God clearly say that He wanted to give birth to a new church out of our existing congregation. We shared this news with our church community and they radically embraced the idea of allowing God to give birth to something new. We quickly began to dream for a new church, New Life Community Church became Journey Church and we immediately went to work on relaunching.

On January 15, 2006 Journey Church launched with 347 people in attendance for the first official Sunday gathering. God is already authoring tremendous stories of life change in the 400-plus people who currently call Journey their church home. We cannot wait to see what is in store for us in the coming months and years.
